Pioneer Europe (February 3rd, 2020) – Pioneer launches a new range of detachable multimedia receivers, with a big focus on versatility. The first product of this new range, the Pioneer SPH-8TAB-BT, consists of a detachable 8” capacitive Android tablet and a receiver where the tablet needs to be attached to. Your co-pilot can disconnect the tablet while the in-car speakers and navigation (Waze, Google Maps and Yandex) remain working flawlessly. When parked, take the tablet with you to navigate further by foot, stream music, watch movies, send messages, browse the web or download any app you like via Google Play Store.
The most popular Google apps are already pre-installed on the tablet, including our Pioneer Smart Sync* for Tablet application. This app is your one-stop solution for getting the most out of smartphones, car receivers and car navigation: it provides you with intuitive app-based features and high-quality car audio.
